1. Waimea Canyon Lookout
Located just past mile marker 10 on Highway 550, this popular spot provides a panoramic view of the canyon’s colorful layers. A short walk from the parking area leads to a spacious viewing platform.
2. Puu Hinahina Lookout
Situated between mile markers 13 and 14 on Highway 550, this lookout offers a broader perspective of the canyon’s deep gorges. On clear days, you might even see Ni‘ihau, the “forbidden island,” in the distance
3. Puu Ka Pele Lookout
Near mile marker 13 on Highway 550, this spot provides clear views of the canyon walls and is easily accessible for those with limited time.
4. Kalalau Lookout
Found around mile marker 18 in Koke’e State Park, this lookout offers views into the Kalalau Valley, showcasing the lush cliffs of the Na Pali Coast. It’s a favorite among photographers.
5. Puu o Kila Lookout
