Located in the middle of the Qualla Boundary of the Cherokee Indian
Reservation adjacent to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, Barnett
Knob Lookout Tower is the last active lookout on the Reservation.
Constructed in 1957, the 80' metal tower with 7'x7' metal cab has been a
favorite tourist attraction for those driving on the nearby Blue Ridge
Parkway.
