The last active station overlooking the Willamette Valley, Green Peter
Lookout first went into service as a cabin in 1916, which was soon replaced
with a cupola lookout in 1920. In 1970 the Linn Forest Protection Ass’n. and
the Oregon Dept. of Forestry moved the present L-4 live-in cab to the site
from Jordan where it was originally constructed in 1949.
