Constructed by the
National Park Service in 1934, Mount Fremont Lookout is located at the end of
a high, treeless ridge with outstanding views of Mt. Rainier. The two story
frame building with 14’x14’ live-in cab with catwalk is reached by a scenic
trail and used by backcountry park rangers and was recently restored.
