Little Cowhorn Lookout on the Willamette National Forest was established in 1923 as a D6 cupola groundhouse. In 1960 it was replaced with a 14' x 14' R6 flattop on a short 4' wooden base. It remained in service only a few years before it was placed on standby status in 1967. Partially restored in the early 1990s, it is located on a popular trail near Eugene and is open for hiker use.
